Dear Colleagues,

 National Youth Education Event 2008 - A REMINDER

This is to remind branches that this year's National Youth Education Event will be taking place over the weekend of 10-12 October at the Jury's Inn Hotel in Brighton.  LTB 151/08 issued in February refers.

This event is the perfect opportunity to introduce Branch Youth Officers and/or young activists to a growing youth network.  They can participate in workshops, learn from others or pass on their own experiences.  If they went to last year's event they may wish to come again this year - it is not a one-time only event - there is always something new to learn, someone new to meet and 12 months of experiences to relay back to colleagues.

The weekend will give participants the enthusiasm, confidence and tools to go back to their branches and deal with the ever increasing pressures on their union time.

Places are limited so early reservation is advised.  If branches have candidates who wish to attend then please fill out the attached application form and send it Jo Thair at CWU headquarters or via email to jthair@cwu.org.  If young members have any questions about the event then please ask them to get in touch with Jo on 0208 971 7487 or via the email given above and she will be only too pleased to speak to them.
